Initially through the corporate process (now abolished) and afterwards through the Company Courts, I have always provided assistance to shareholders with conflicts of interest, also participating as a proxy in meetings, in addition to providing defence in corporate arbitration proceedings. On the basis of the relationship of trust that I create with business owners and their families, they appoint me to advise them in the event of corporate distress or if they should wish to sell. In both of these situations, my primary goal is to safeguard business continuity whilst identifying solutions to the inevitable conflicts that arise between the interests of those with ownership and the company. Assisting business owners as a lawyer or legal advisor requires me to verify existing problems and goals, identify and share strategies and then implement these through to complete fulfilment of the established aims.

Born in Cuneo on 17 February 1968 and living in Vicenza since 1995.

• Graduated in Law from the University of Ferrara, Faculty of Law, with a dissertation entitled “Ethics and Economics”.
• Former member of the Board of Directors of the University of Ferrara.
• Served as an academic assistant for Prof. P. Luigi Marzola from 1994 to 1996, coordinating students’ theses regarding the relationship between ethics and economics.
• Worked with Prof. L. Paolucci from 1996 to 1999, as academic assistant in “Commercial Law” at the University of Bologna, Faculty of Economics and Commerce, organising and holding a seminar on corporate law.
• Registered with the Vicenza Bar Association and became Supreme Court Lawyer in 2014.
• Former Chairman of the Founding Committee of the bank “Credito Veneto S.p.a.”.
• Previous member of NIAF, the National Italian American Foundation, participating as a guest of the Italian delegation at the meeting held in Washington in October 2008.
• Former member of the Italy – America Chamber of Commerce of New York.
• Was National Vice-President of the Federation of Italy – Israel Associations from 2012 to 2015 and from 21 November 2015 was elected as National President of the Federation of Italy – Israel Associations, covering this role until November 2018.
• From December 2015 to November 2017, board member of the European Alliance for Israel.
  In March 2014, was founding member and appointed as Chairman of the National Chamber for the Business of Italy and Israel, which promotes business between companies from the two countries.
• Was one of the “IlSole24 Ore experts” on corporate law and collaborated with the publication “Diritto e Pratica delle società”.
• Appointed to the Board of the Compagnia delle Opere Nord Est business organisation, and selected as main legal advisor to provide assistance to the companies participating in the Matching Shanghai event in June 2012.
• Since 2003, legal advisor of the largest trade association (15,000 members) and provides assistance to member businesses in the field of corporate law, restructuring and generational handover.
• In 2015, represented a client in the first debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing operation in Italy, which was recognised by the Top Legal Awards.
• Since 2017, legal advisor for the whole of Veneto for legal assistance in corporate restructuring, extraordinary transactions (M&A) and corporate distress proceedings (article 67 of the Finance Law, article 182-bis of the Finance Law, early arrangement with creditors and pre-bankruptcy composition), and generational handover to clients of a leading national private wealth management company.
• In 2019, provided assistance through to court approval of a composition as a direct going concern for a leading Italian player in facility management (project financing for hospitals).
• Since January 2020, together with other members of the Firm, wrote the Legal Services column of the publication “Fare Impresa”.
• Recognised in 2020 by Class Editori – Milano Finanza as one of the top twenty Italian Legal Firms included as Best firms in the Restructuring & Insolvency sector, with publication in the Volume “The Best Lawyers and Legal Firms in Italy”.
• Again in 2020, ranked second in north-east Italy for overall value of operations handled in the sphere of bankruptcy law and insolvency proceedings, in a ranking featured in the June-July 2020 edition of the publication Capital.

Lecturer at the departments of education of the Guardia di Finanza financial police force and, specifically, at the Academy of Bergamo, the School for Inspectors and Superintendents of L’Aquila and the School for Economic-Finance Police of Ostia.

Lectures at the National School of Administration (former Secondary Institute of Economy and Finance), an institute connected to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Aldo Sanchini School, founded by the Order of Accounting Professionals of Rome. Has also performed the same activity at the School of Higher Education established by the National Board of Accountants and Accounting Experts and on the Professional Master’s in Corporate Distress and Restructuring.

Currently CEO of Pensplan Centrum S.p.A., an in-house company of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige and the Autonomous Provinces of Bolzano and Trento, as well as Member of the Board of Directors of SASA S.p.A. (bus services company), an in-house company of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the Municipalities of Bolzano, Laives and Merano. Serves as Chairman of the Board of Auditors, as well as Chairman and Member of the Supervisory Body, pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01, for leading limited companies, including listed companies, operating in the industrial and financial spheres, and active member of various consulting committees of mutual investment funds.

Previously member of the Joint Commission for the regulations on implementation of the Special Autonomy Statute for Trentino-Alto Adige (Commissione dei Dodici), appointed by the Council of the Autonomous Province of Trento.

Author of articles in leading national publications on tax law, and of editorials for the Ipsoa daily publication, and co-author of the “Testo Unico Imposte sui Redditi. Gli articoli commentati” (Consolidated Income-Tax Law: A commentary on the articles), published by SEAC. Regularly speaks at conferences in the field.
